What it checks
A courier bill can run to thousands of rows. Nobody has time to check each one for weight discrepancies, wrong zones or rates you never agreed, so a wrong charge usually gets paid. CourierCop does that reconciliation for you: it compares every row and flags the ones that don't match. A flag is something to raise with the courier, not proof of an error.
| Charge | What CourierCop compares | Flag in the app |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | The billed weight against your product weights and the volumetric weight of the box each SKU ships in. | Billed weight above expected |
| Zone | The billed zone against the zone your rate card gives for the pickup and delivery pincodes. | Billed zone differs from yours |
| COD fee | Cash-on-delivery fees against how the order was actually paid in Shopify. | COD fee on a prepaid order |
| Return (RTO) | Return-to-origin charges against the shipment's delivery status. | RTO charged on a delivered shipment |
| Duplicates | Each AWB against the other rows on the bill and your earlier bills. | Charge billed more than once |
| Rates and surcharges | Freight, fuel, failed-delivery (NDR) and other charges against your agreed rates. | Forward rate above your rate card |
It also catches shipments charged but never picked up, COD fees not reversed on returns and AWBs that aren't in your store.

How it works
Approve read-only access to orders, fulfillments, products and locations. Your last 60 days of orders come in automatically.
Enter what you agreed with each courier: weight slabs by zone, COD, fuel, returns and GST. The card is tested on your real bills.
Upload the shipment-level bill as CSV, Excel or PDF. Each row is matched to its Shopify shipment by AWB.
Every flagged row shows the reason, how confident the app is and how many days are left to claim.
Turn findings into a claim with an evidence PDF and a ready letter. You send it, then log what the courier approves and pays.
Inside the app
These are the app's own screens, shown with sample data.
Findings are sorted by what to do next: claim-ready, needs review, watch, claimed, won, lost and dismissed. Filter by courier, reason, status or claim deadline, and act on many rows at once.

Each finding puts your rate card next to what the courier billed, charge by charge, beside the order, items, ship date and delivery status. The confidence level says how far you can rely on it: high only when the rate card is verified and the zone, weight and status are known.

Group confirmed findings into a claim for each invoice. CourierCop writes the subject and the letter from the evidence, ready to copy or download as a PDF, with a CSV of the shipments. Nothing goes to the courier without you: you send it and record the reply.

Enter prices by zone and weight slab, with COD, returns, failed delivery attempts, surcharges and GST. Dated versions keep older bills on older prices. The app re-prices up to 50 recent shipments with the courier's own weight and zone, and marks the card Verified when at least 90% of 20 or more match.

Monthly reports show what each courier billed against what your rate cards expected, the share billed above the card and your cost per delivered order. Paid plans add insights by SKU, box and zone, smaller-box suggestions and alerts before a claim window closes.

Your data
The app asks for read access to orders, fulfillments, products and locations. It can't create, change or delete anything in your store, and it doesn't ask for your customer records.
It reads order details, items, weights, payment method, tracking numbers and the delivery pincode to work out zones. Names, phone numbers, addresses and emails in a courier bill are left out when the bill is read.
CourierCop prepares the evidence and the letter. You decide what to claim and send it yourself, and the courier decides what to credit. A finding is never a guaranteed refund.
Any shipment-level bill with one row per AWB works, from a courier or an aggregator. If its column names are new to the app, you match them once. Courier names describe bill formats, not partnerships.

Shopify brands shipping in India that pay courier or aggregator bills, especially with cash on delivery and returns. Amounts are reported in rupees.
It prices each shipment from your rate card, using the weight from your products and boxes and the zone from the pickup and delivery pincodes, then compares that with each charge on the bill. Differences above your tolerance (by default ₹10 and 5%) become findings, each with a reason.

No. A finding means the bill doesn't match your rate card. The courier reviews each claim and decides what to credit, and claims must be raised within the window in your courier contract, which the app tracks for you.
