CourierCop Help

Download your bill

CourierCop needs the shipment-level bill: one row for each AWB, with the weight and each charge. A summary invoice with only totals is not enough.

What the app accepts

  • File types: CSV, XLSX (Excel) or PDF. Up to 20 MB.
  • CSV or Excel is best. A PDF works only if it has a table the app can read. If it cannot, you are asked to attach the line items as a CSV or Excel file (the "annexure").
  • The same file cannot be uploaded twice.
  • The app looks for columns such as the AWB, the weight and each charge (freight, COD, fuel, RTO and so on). If your column names are new to it, it asks you to match them once.
  • Personal columns (names, phones, addresses, emails) are left out when the bill is read.

How to upload

Go to Bills and click Upload billing file. Choose the courier account, the billing period start and end, and the file. The invoice number is optional. If you leave it blank, it is read from the file when the file has one.

Every provider's panel looks different and changes over time, so we only say what to look for. If you cannot find the shipment-level file, ask your account manager or the provider's support: "Please send the shipment-wise invoice annexure in CSV or Excel."

Shiprocket

In your Shiprocket panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the billing period. Shiprocket is an aggregator, so the file can include shipments of several couriers. Add one rate card for the account, and use the optional Courier field if prices differ by courier.

Delhivery

In your Delhivery panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice. If you only get a PDF, ask Delhivery for the Excel annexure.

Shadowfax

In your Shadowfax panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice.

XpressBees

In your XpressBees panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice.

Ecom Express

In your Ecom Express panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice.

DTDC

In your DTDC panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice. If you only get a PDF, ask DTDC for the shipment-wise sheet.

Blue Dart

In your Blue Dart panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice. If you only get a PDF, ask your Blue Dart contact for the shipment-wise sheet.

Ekart

In your Ekart panel, open Billing or Invoices and download the shipment-level CSV or Excel for the invoice.

Other couriers

India Post, Amazon Shipping and any courier you add as "Other" work the same way: get the file with one row per AWB and upload it.

After you upload

Your bill moves from Queued to Processing to Processed. Other states you may see:

  • Needs column mapping - the column names are new. Open the bill and match the columns once.
  • Needs line items - a PDF had no table to read. Attach the CSV or Excel line items.
  • Failed - the file could not be read. Open it to see why.

Rows that match no Shopify shipment, or that cannot be read, are counted under Problems to fix on the Bills page. Next: Understanding findings.
