CourierCop: Overcharge Audit Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you install and use the CourierCop Shopify app.

Effective: 24 October 2026Last updated: 24 October 2026

CourierCop: Overcharge Audit ("CourierCop", "the app") is a Shopify app developed and operated by Harsh Dumasvala, a sole proprietor trading as KD Scale Agency ("we", "us", "our"), at A/102, Sunrise Residency, Green Park Soc., Utran, Surat, Gujarat 394105, India. These terms are an agreement between us and the merchant who installs the app ("you"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't install it, or uninstall it.

Shopify's own terms still apply to your store and to apps. The CourierCop Privacy Policy, linked at the end of this page, explains how the app handles data and forms part of these terms.

CourierCop reads your Shopify orders, fulfillments, products and locations with read-only access, compares the courier bills you upload with the rate cards you enter, flags charges that don't match and prepares claim letters and evidence for you.

The app doesn't change anything in your store and doesn't contact your couriers or your customers. You decide which claims to send, you send them yourself, and your courier decides what to credit.

A finding means a bill row doesn't match the rate card and store data you gave the app. It isn't proof of an error and doesn't guarantee a refund or credit. Results depend on the accuracy of your rate cards, product weights, packaging and bills, and on your courier contract.

Check each finding before you claim it, and raise claims within the time your courier contract allows. The app shows claim deadlines to help, but meeting them is your responsibility.

  • There's a free plan with the limits shown in the app. Paid plans are charged monthly in US dollars through Shopify's billing, at the price shown when you choose the plan.
  • Paid plans start with a free trial of up to 14 days. Development stores use the app free of charge.
  • Each plan has a monthly shipment limit. Shipments over the limit are checked once you upgrade.
  • You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the app, or by uninstalling it. Shopify handles the charges, invoices and any taxes on them.
  • Fees already charged aren't refunded, except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise in writing.
  • We may change prices or plan features. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you, and Shopify asks you to approve any higher charge.

When you use CourierCop, you agree to:

  • Upload only bills, rate cards and documents you're allowed to share with us.
  • Keep the details you enter, such as rate cards, weights, packaging and claim details, accurate.
  • Use the app only for your own store and for lawful purposes, and explain in your store's privacy policy that you use service providers such as CourierCop.
  • Not copy, resell, reverse engineer or overload the app, try to reach another store's data, or get around plan limits or security.

Your store data, bills and claims remain yours. You allow us to use them only to provide, support and secure the app for you, as described in the CourierCop Privacy Policy. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

The app, its software, design and text belong to us. While you use it, you have a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your store under these terms. Claim letters and reports the app prepares for you are yours to use.

We work to keep the app available and accurate, but it's provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may improve, change or remove features. If we stop offering the app, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance where we can.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, or for claims a courier rejects or that are raised late. Our total liability for anything related to the app is limited to the fees you paid us for it in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

You can stop using CourierCop at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use puts the app or other merchants at risk, or if the law requires it. After you uninstall, your data is deleted as described in the CourierCop Privacy Policy.

We'll update this page and the date at the top whenever these terms change. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India.
